Social media expert, Nicola Mellor, is currently in training for her 24.5 mile trek across the Yorkshire 3 Peaks next month. She’s fundraising for a charity, the Huddersfield Town Foundation, which improves the lives of children & young people in the local area.
Nicola, the Managing Director at hellomint Ltd, is excited to be taking part in the corporate challenge as part of a 4 strong team alongside some of hellomints’ clients, Riasca & Eurolink. She will be fundraising alongside Huddersfield Town Chairman Dean Hoyle, who is also taking part in the event.
The teams taking part will arrive at Horton-in-Ribblesdale on Friday 12th June at 6.45am in preparation of the 24.5 mile walk over the Yorkshire Mountains of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent. Nicola, a keen horse woman, is aiming to raise over £1000 for the worthy charity and complete the walk within 12 hours if possible. She plans to take her dog Tia along for extra support.
Nicola said “I’m really looking forward to this challenge and have started my training early. I’m hoping to tweet live updates along the way if signal permits! The Huddersfield Town Foundation is a wonderful charity that I’m keen to support – they do some amazing work with the children’s breakfast clubs throughout the local area so I’m trying to raise as much as I can. People can sponsor me at my Just Giving page which is www.justgiving.com/Nicola-Mellor7.”
