Nicola has made it to the Regional Heats for Yorkshire, where she will attend the Regional Final at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne on 14th October.

The Young Entrepreneur award is for women under the age of 30 who have either founded the business they work in/or currently own a controlling share of the equity in business in which they work.

The judging panel includes Debra White, Regional Director of Small Businesses HSBC, Ajaz Ahmed, the founder of Freeserve, Helen Samuels from United Utilities and Saha Hashemi, founder of Coffee Republic.

Forward Ladies was founded in 1999 with one vision in mind – to unlock potential in profession women. Forward Ladies wanted to create an environment and community where women could feel heard, seen and able to upskill and develop themselves.

The call for nominations attract an outstanding line up of women from a broad range of business sectors. The awards, which were created to celebrate trail blazing and pioneering women from enterprise and business, are hugely important because they give women a unique opportunity to acknowledge their success and become credible and inspirational role models for others.

Hellomint are extremely proud of Nicola’s nomination and we have our fingers crossed for the regional finals!
