Archie, a Year 10 Holmfirth High School student who, as part of his work experience, came in for five days to experience what it’s like to work in the world of social media and marketing.

Archie’s previous experience has mostly been in content creation with Photoshop and Illustrator, therefore he was able to assist Lewis, our resident graphic designer and social media assistant. Archie produced some top quality work, much of it being seamlessly incorporated into projects that we’ve been working on.

Whilst we always try and reach out to the community and offer opportunities and learning for young people, Archie instantly felt like one of the team. He was punctual and was ready to get stuck into work and set to work his creative skills. When it was time to leave at the end of each day, he was always willing to stay on at work to finish off the project that he was working on.

His week with us passed all too quickly and when it was time for him to move onto his next placement, he surprised us all (especially Tia) by bringing in toys and treats to keep her entertained in his absence.

We’re sure that Archie will go far with whatever career he chooses, his technical and creative skills would make any aspiring graphic designer of his age envious, and we look forward to following his career and wish him all the best for the future.
