Social Mediahellomint is delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Nicola Mellor has been short-listed for a prestigious award.

Every year the Sue Ryder charity hosts a special awards ceremony in recognition of outstanding women and the contribution they make in the Yorkshire region.  The event is taking place on Friday 15th May 2015 at New Dock Hall in the The Royal Armouries, Leeds. In its 29th year the awards provide the opportunity to celebrate the achievement of women in the Yorkshire region whilst also raising funds for Sue Ryder.  Over 700 people are expected to attend with extensive coverage in press, radio and TV.

This year Nicola from hellomint has been nominated in the “Women of Achievement in Business” category.  Nicola has grown her Marketing business from a small sole trader operation into one of Yorkshire’s leading social media and marketing companies. She has recently turned into a limited company following employing her first member of staff earlier this year.  hellomint is a fresh, creative and dynamic business based in Huddersfield offering social media management and marketing to the Yorkshire region.

Nicola said “I’m absolutely delighted to be nominated for this award as I’m very keen to grow my business – it is recognition for all my hard work over the last year.  One of my clients, Amy Wray of Applegate Properties has also been nominated for this award which is lovely so I’m really looking forward to the event.  I’m proud to support the Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice and all the brilliant work they do.”

All nominations are considered by the independent judging panel; then one winner is chosen from each category. Out of the six category winners one will also be named the overall Sue Ryder Yorkshire Woman of Achievement 2015.

Good luck Nicola!

The event itself will take place Friday 15th May at New Dock Hall of the Royal Armouries, Leeds.
