Armed with her expert knowledge of everything Twitter, hellomint Managing Director, Nicola Mellor delivered ‘60 Useful Minutes on Twitter for Business’ training at The John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday 9th September.

Nicola was delighted to work with The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce to deliver social media training on Twitter for their members and other local companies. The session included the basics of how to set up a twitter account, how to develop a twitter strategy in line with business & marketing planning as well as what and how to tweet. The interactive training provided the business professionals attending with information on hashtags, retweets, favourites and all important ratio of followers to following.

All the delegates at the training brought along their own laptops and tablets so that Nicola could provide tailored and specific advice on Twitter for their companies. The feedback from those attending was very positive and everyone went away having learnt lots more about how to use Twitter and its benefits in business.

Nicola commented “the world of social media is constantly changing and here at hellomint we see developments all the time. We use Twitter every day and manage Twitter accounts on behalf of our clients so we have lots experiences we can share. Twitter is a fantastic social media platform which can enable SMEs to operate effectively and efficiently in their marketplace – it provides a tool to target and win new clients, meet like-minded professionals and maintain business relationships.”

For those who missed the Twitter training for Business, hellomint is able to provide additional full or half day twitter training courses on request.
